Wild Cockatiel Games

Welcome to Wild Cockatiel Games. We are an indie games studio located in Mississauga, Canada. Why the name? Because cockatiels are amazing, intelligent birds and we love them. We also love making games, so combining the two into our name simply made sense.

We are on a mission to make fun games for mobile, PC and the Nintendo Switch – starting with mobile. Head over to the games section of our website to see what we currently have released, as well as what’s in development.

Playing Games – Making Games

Making games for you to play is what we do first. Teaching you how to make your own games is what we do second. We believe great ideas originate from many types of people. Learning to code can take time, commitment and patience. As long as you possess those, there is little limit to what you can create, either now or eventually.

Executive Producer: Jonathan

My name is Jonathan and I am an indie game developer.

I started learning how to code and make games a few years ago and decided to launch my titles under the name Wild Cockatiel Games, simply due to my love for these exotic birds that I grew up with. I have a bachelor’s of business management degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, graduating in the class of 2010. Learning to code and make games is something I’ve done completely on the side since then.

I’ve also been a member of Goodyear Toastmasters in Toronto since 2010, constantly working on improving my public speaking and leadership skills.

Making and playing games of many types is my passion. Whether that means sitting around the table and playing games with friends and family. or testing my skills in a match of Overwatch on the computer with my friends. Or simply relaxing and roaming the lands of Hyrule in Breath of the Wild.

Games are a lifestyle and a way to bring people together.
